Wolverine Launch Party featuring Mutiny Pop-up Collective

New for Fall/Winter 2010, Redeem is pleased to bring Wolverine boots to the brand line-up, and announce our official WOLVERINE Launch Party and Trunk Show, happening Friday, November 19th from 7PM to 9:30PM.

Wolverine will be on hand with additional styles from the 1000 Mile Boot Collection available to order, as well as “the original” limited edition shell cordovan 1000 Mile Boot, the 721LTD.

Plus, DC artist m.gert barkovic presents MUTINY, a quiet collective of the found and made. Inspired by “a man of questionable repute and tasty intellect”, MUTINY will also feature custom pant designs by NYC’s Grown & Sewn. Mutiny will be hosted at Redeem as a month-long installation, with all items available for purchase.

DJs Paul and John Thornley of US Royalty, whose music is featured in Wolverine’s “Making The Boot” videos, provide the mood… We hope you can join us! PLEASE RSVP HERE.

Sydney's Saint Augustine Academy have turned out a compelling collection of menswear for Fall that we just couldn't resist. Regulars in Sydney's art and music scene, SAA's collections are music and band-inspired; and have adorned the likes of some of our personal favorites, from Friendly Fires and MGMT to Black Lips.

This collection tells the story of Euchrid the Mute, a character from a Nick Cave novel. With its limited color palette and directional tailoring, it's perfect for those impending grey days.

Now in store, denim by LA's THEM Atelier. Founders Brian Kim and Olga Nazarova have created great fitting jeans in clean washes; all made in the USA. Skinny and Hi-Waist fits for girls and Tapered and Straight Fits for guys at $78.

Keeping it Local: Couture Saboteur

Redeem welcomes Couture Saboteur to the brand family. Local designer Thomas Griffiths has created a custom selection of jewelry just for the shop: Contraband by Couture Saboteur. Using found and recycled objects with new materials, Thomas hand crafts one-of-a kind statement pieces from show-stopping bib necklaces to other-worldly bubble cuffs. ReadySetDC Fashion:District - Redeem Runway

A huge thank you to ReadySetDC.com for including us in their Fashion:District event last week. The setting was amazing (rooftop runway) and we had an absolute blast! Special thanks to Kelly Gorsuch (owner, Immortal Beloved) for fantastic hair and the lovely Ashley Geesaman(Immortal Beloved) for great make-up. And of course, we couldn't have done it without our dream model team: Agnes, Thomas, Laura, Katie, Tennessee, Melody, Michael, and Tyler.
